Several of the projects supported to benefit residents of the Wai‘anae Coast:
· $375,000 per year for each of two years of the UH funds identified will be used to establish Ho`okulaiwi: `Aha Ho`ona`auao `Oiwi (the center for native Hawaiian and indigenous education).
· $1,500,000 construction funds for The Salvation Army at the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in Kapolei.
· $1,000,000 construction funds for the Easter Seals Hawaii building in West Oahu.
· $5,000,000 design for an afternoon (p.m.) contraflow lane on H-1 from the airport interchange to the Waiawa interchange (westbound zipperlane).
· $1,200,000 design for Kaupuni Stream bridge rehabilitation (widen and/or lengthen if required, including upgrade of bridge railings and approaches).
· $17,225,000 design and construction of a four lane collector road south of Farrington Highway in the vicinity of the UH West Oahu campus in Kapolei.
· $44,000,000 construction of the North/South Road from Kapolei Parkway to the H-1 freeway.
· $125,000 construction for the Waianae Coast Community Mental Health Center facility improvements.
· $250,000 construction for Hawaii Coalition of Christian Churches for emergency, transitional, and/or low income housing.
· $300,000 construction (statewide) for Hawaii Habitat for Humanity Association, Inc.
· $250,000 construction for Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead Community Association for the development of a Hawaiian Center.
· $275,000 construction for Malama Learning Center for a sustainable building for science, conservation, culture and arts education in West Oahu.
· $135,000,000 design/construction for UH West Oahu campus.
· $25,200,000 design/construction (in addition to previously funded $98 million) for the Kapolei Judiciary Complex.
